New Media Architects helps launch Ontario Green Energy Act Website

Toronto, June 2, 2008 - The new Ontario Green Energy Act website was launched to propel Ontario into a leadership position in renewable energy.

Designed by New Media Architects, the website is built with their database-driven content management system, Baseline CMS.

The website is the communication platform for building a grassroots movement of volunteers and supporters who will be known as the Green Energy Action Team.

Individuals can join the Ontario Green Energy Action Team using the website’s online forms. A Green Energy Action Alliance of community groups, associations and trade groups will be managed through an Alliance Extranet.

Those wishing to support the Ontario Green Energy Act can make a donation or sign up to sponsor workshops, events and training sessions.

"Thank you for your great work on the website and also for your insights into how to shape the communications strategy. It is greatly appreciated," said Kristopher Stevens, Chair of the Steering Committee and Executive Director of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association.

NMA, a software development company in Toronto, has been helping organizations in the development and implementation of content-managed websites, extranets, and intranets for over 10 years.
